the Five Bar

A traditional, English rural classic. As a diamond braced field gate used on farms with livestock and horses in the field, in its most basic form. The five bar gate can be made more imposing as an entrance gate in the shape of a curved stile or ‘Estate’ with long diagonal braces or even more intricate, unusual designs of infill.
